Having a tough time
Martin and Toby reached their hideout underneath the bridge. It wasn’t ideal, certainly not for a sick dog. But it was the only place that felt like home. Once there, Martin placed a blanket over the shivering animal and shared every bite of food he could. The poor man did his best, but it was tough.
