Gone is her safety net
Becky got on with her day fine after that. She helped people with their problems, and when doing so, Becky hoped that this day would never end. That, unfortunately, was not the case. The hours seemed to fly by, and before Becky knew it, her shift had ended. And that meant that the safety net provided by her work did, too. Becky needed to go home, which meant another metro trip.
