Final request
Dany told Clair about the events in the restaurant. She told her about Charles’s extreme loneliness and really emphasized the guilt he still felt after all those years. Clair listened intently, and eventually, her demeanor changed. She let out a long sigh and told Dany she could come inside if she wanted. Inside, Dany continued her story, and she ended with a request. “Please see your father, even if it is only once.”
