Harold already worked in the home for years. “I’ve been helping here since 1998,” Harold stated. He even explained that this was the very place where he met Mr. Thompson for the first time. “Before rebuilding his life, Mr. Thompson was an old homeless veteran. I helped him and introduced him to the diner where he now comes by every day.” The boys listened carefully but also looked around with sadness in their eyes.
