Lilly agreed with the director’s offer and smiled at her daughter. “I think it’s a wonderful idea. Don’t you?” A broad smile appeared on Ella’s face, and she hugged her mother. The director offered the young girl his hand, and they made arrangements. Ella would visit the zoo twice a month to play with the lions. The park would pay for entrance and travel costs, and the little girl would get special tours and merchandise.
