He picked it out and held it in front of Tom. “Do you recognize this?” he said. Tom’s eyes widened, and both brothers eventually stared at the same point in the room. A large oil painting of Robert Stevenson and his family hung on the wall. It was beautifully painted and precisely the same as the picture. This was the first thing they found that led anywhere. It had to be a clue!
