They both turned around, their hearts pounding in their chests. There, standing in the entrance, was Eunice. Her eyes, usually filled with kindness, were wide with fear and anger. A bag of groceries lay at her feet, the items scattered across the floor. Her voice echoed around the apartment. “What are you doing in my house?!” she shouted, looking at them with a mixture of confusion and anger.
