He had never seen elephants running before, so this was a special sight. But John didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. In fact, something was clearly wrong, because this was not a sprint out of joy. The elephant was trying to guide him somewhere, and from the animal’s haste, it was important and he had to go as fast as possible.
