She was wandering the empty streets of the suburbs for almost half an hour now. But not a single clue could be found. “This is hopeless,” she thought after a while. “What am I even hoping to find?” She was about to turn back home to try again in the morning when she heard it. A faint sound in the distance. No normal person could have heard it.
