Gasping belly
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Sarah felt a sudden sharp pain in her lower abdomen. She gasped and clutched at her belly, feeling a warm trickle of fluid between her legs. Ryan leaped to his feet, his face a mask of panic. “Sarah, are you okay? What’s happening?” he asked her. They had not expected the babies to be born for four more weeks.
