First aid
Robert knew that he had to do something to help the foal. He rummaged through his backpack, looking for any first aid supplies he might have. He found a small bottle of antiseptic and a roll of gauze. He carefully cleaned the foal’s wounds and wrapped them with gauze. The mother horse watched him closely, her eyes never leaving him.
